Republicans will unveil legislation to fight retail theft, avert a small-business tax increase and give consumers a sales tax holiday.
SACRAMENTO – Wednesday, February 21 at 9am, Republican lawmakers will join small-businesses owners, advocates and law enforcement on the West Steps of the Capitol for a press conference announcing legislation to support small businesses. Speakers will highlight the challenges of operating a small business in California, including high taxes, heavy-handed regulations, rising costs and crime. Lawmakers will present a series of bills to address those issues and make California a better place to start and grow a business.
