A new USC study confirms what Californians already know: our high gas prices are the result of deliberate policy choices. From Sacramento’s 60 cents per gallon gas tax to Cap-and-Trade and other expensive regulations, it’s obvious that Democrat policies are the main reason gas in California is $1.60 above the national average.
Michael Mische, who authored the study with the USC Marshall School of Business, finds:
